Georgina Danyluk, daughter of Barbara (d1983) and George (d1935); also a beloved mom of Geoffrey (Svitlana), Calvin, Demetro, and Deidre; including a grandmother to Stephanie, Laura and Kiah and great-grandmother to Easton. Mom was the youngest and last surviving of 13 Kurulak children. Thus, an enormous number of nephews and nieces.
Our mom grew up in small-town Saskatchewan (Stenen / Canora) also the BC interior as well as Birch and Swan River, Manitoba. She moved to Winnipeg with our dad in 1959. Our mom had a great work ethic throughout her whole life and set a great example of how to live life and make ends meet. Our mom wouldn’t hold back on what she thought and was always willing to share. We always knew when we were loved and when we were in the wrong. Mom also loved a good laugh, for example, the occasional Kleenex in the perogy prank.
Mom will be laid to rest with her dad at a small family gathering. We want to thank the WHCS for their patience. Also, for helping and supporting our mom when she started to transition to full care.
She will continue to live through the many generations of people she helped and supported. We thank you Mom for always being there throughout our journey together. God Bless You Mom and thank you for loving us so dearly.

Aunty Georgina. Forever my ” Aunty Polly” the nickname our Dad called his little sister. We shared much laughter and many memories over the years. You were only ever a phonecall away.
It always brightened my day to hear your voice or see your smile. You had a knack for making a dark day a little brighter with some tidbit we’d laugh about. You loved your family and it was known. ♡
So sorry to hear of the loss of your mom and thank you for such a beautifully written eulogy. What a very special person.
