Georgia Kantzioris

March 10, 1944 – May 11, 2021 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Georgia Kantzioris on May 11, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband John (Ioannis), brother Haralambos, as well as her parents.

Georgia was born on March 10, 1944 in Vamvakou, Greece, to Angela and John Sarantopoulos. She and John were married in Greece in 1965 shortly before their move to Winnipeg.
Georgia was known for her quiet nature and giving spirit. She loved her garden and grew tomatoes and cucumbers for many. She also really loved to feed people. At her table, a dinner for 8 easily included enough food for 25. Her 2 grandchildren provided her an abundance of joy from their birth throughout the years.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her sons George and Pete (Cindy), two cherished grandchildren Matthew and Alexia, as well as her brother Peter and sisters Andriana and Dina. Also left to cherish her memory are countless cousins, nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.

Due to covid restrictions, a private family service and burial will take place. Interment at Chapel Lawn.
