On July 5, 2023 Doug passed away peacefully at Golden Links Lodge at the age of 81.
Doug was predeceased by his sister Dolly and brother Norman. Doug leaves to mourn his wife Paulette (Dubuc); sisters-in-law Lillian, Pauline, Betty and Irene as well as his nieces and nephews.
Doug was employed by Manitoba Hydro for over 25 years as an Electrician Technologist. Doug’s favourite time was sailing Lake Winnipeg on Valkyrie, the 32-foot sailboat he built and loved.
Doug will be missed by his family and friends. A private gathering will be held at a later date.
