With sadness, we announce the passing of Douglas Arnold Eaton on June 3, 2024 at the age of 73.
He was predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Joyce Eaton.
He was the eldest of 7 children. He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth, and his sister, Darlene.
He is survived by his brother, Richard, and his sisters, Colleen, Heather and Rosemary. He also leaves behind a large extended family and many friends.
Doug was born on May 14, 1951 in Treherne, Manitoba. As a young boy he moved to Winnipeg with his parents. He went to elementary school at Glenwood School and he graduated grade 12 at R.B.Russell school from the gardening program.
His working life saw him in various roles such as security guard, bouncer, truck driver, warehouse worker, lawn and garden worker.
Doug’s years were filled with many lifestyle iterations. Some of those iterations saw Doug with his own families, others living on his own. Others yet, have him sadly estranged from his two daughters, Patricia and Kimberly, his son, James and his stepson, Shaun.
Doug cherished his circle of friends. Thank you for being there for him.
Cremation has occurred.
Burial will happen at a future date.
The demons that dwell in the living soul
Can be relentless, and take their toll.
Now that the demons have lost their hold
May he return to the heavenly fold.
