July 5, 1972 – July 11, 2019

 

It is with profound sadness and heavy heart the family announces the passing of their dear son, loving father, nephew and cousin, Colin Stephen Roy Bell in Winnipeg MB, on July 11, 2019.

Colin is survived by his wife Patricia; daughter Natasha; loving parents Irene and Chris; cousins Kristi (Knowle, Vayda and Quin); and Evan; aunts Ursula, Tracey and Val and uncle Ron.

Colin started Sea Cadets at a young age, until 18. At 19, Colin joined the Canadian Armed Forces which was the start of serving Canada for 28 years. With pride, he deployed to Bosnia, Afghanistan, Kuwait/ Iraq and Gulf war alongside his brothers and sisters in arms. A milestone in Colin’s career was his 3 year posting to the Canadian Embassy in Beijing, China where he represented his country. “Beside each uniformed member stands a courageous family who loves them with all their heart”.

A celebration of Colin’s life will be held on Friday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m., at 17 Wing, 715 Wihuri Road, (Ness to Whytewold and follow through).

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund or Soldier On.

Rest in peace now. You will forever and always be in our hearts.”
