March 27, 1980 – January 29, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Carla Marie Nepinak at the age of 42.
Carla is predeceased by her partner Jerry Menard; her father Bruce Allare, and her stepfather “Hawk” Henry Roussin.
She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Mary Rose Nepinak; daughter Kayla Nepinak; son Clint Nepinak; granddaughter Chloe; brother Anthony Thompson; sister Audrey Ellen Thompson, and nephews Eric Thompson (Sara), and Matthew Thompson.
Carla was born in Swan River, MB and grew up in Camperville, MB. She attended school in Winnipegosis and Dauphin, MB. She spent the majority of her life raising her family in Dauphin with her partner Jerry and 2 children Clint and Kayla. Her mother remembers Carla as young girl singing while her stepfather Hawk played the guitar. They would often laugh because they couldn’t believe how Carla could remember all the words to every song. She is known to make people laugh and always loved to sing. Some of her favorite songs to sing were Lorretta Lynn songs and John Fogerty songs. Her beautiful voice could always light up the room when she would sing. She also enjoyed singing “Break my Stride” by Matthew Wilder. We hope that she is singing in the sky. May she forever rest in peace.
Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end
They simply mean I’ll miss you,
Until we meet again
