Brayden Crotty

Brayden Crotty

July 30, 1992 – October 24, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of Brayden Crotty’s passing. Brayden earned his wings on October 24, 2024 at the young age of 32.

Brayden was born and raised in Winnipeg and was welcomed with great love and excitement at the St. Boniface Hospital on July 30, 1992.

Brayden spent his earlier years playing soccer, hockey and lacrosse.  He loved to be around his family and friends.  He graduated from Kildonan East Collegiate, following in the footsteps of his parents.  After graduating he and his friend bought a hot dog cart, HomeDawgz and then went to work with S & J Construction until September 2023.

“B” as he was fondly referred to by many, was a bright and generous soul with a passion for sports and ice fishing. “B” discovered a love of ice fishing and cherished his times spent with his cousins Brent and Jason on the ice.  As well, Brayden had a shared passion with his best friend and cousin Jason for NFL football  and spent countless hours planning, and predicting their next moves.

Brayden has touched so many hearts and will be especially remembered for his incredible sense of humor, love of sports, sharp intelligence, quick wit and his polished sense of style.

Brayden was predeceased by his Poppy (Dermot Crotty), Nana Bunny (Bernice Crotty) and uncle Darren Crotty as well Brayden’s cherished friends.

Left to treasure and mourn Brayden are his parents Penny (Rob), Dennis (Janne) and his. amazing  “big lil” sister Kelsey (Matt), Brayden’s partner Leanne, His grandparents Cliff and Lorna Reykdal.  As well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins on all sides of the family.

Brayden was deeply loved by everyone and had endless support from everyone that knew him.

Celebration of life will be held Friday November 8, 2024 at 4:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion #215 Henderson Hwy and the perimeter

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bruce Oake Recovery Centre – 255 Hamilton Avenue Wpg, Mb R2Y2C3
