January 8, 1937 – Dec 24, 2019

It is with immense sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our mom Bev.

Bev was born and raised in southwestern Manitoba and for a time, lived in La Rivière Manitoba where she met and married our dad Oscar Wiklund.

Bev’s life was well lived despite the loss of our dad in her 30’s, the loss of her second husband Nick Hasiuk in her 40’s and her partner Bob Paton in her 60’s.

Bev was a strong independent woman.  She retired as a ward clerk from the Victoria Hospital where she made many life long friends.  We will always remember the brave, witty and funny woman that she was – which endeared her to all.  She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Laurie Einarson, son Dave Wiklund (Susan), grand children Eric Einarson,  Kyle Wiklund and Kelli Wiklund (Curtis) and her first great grandchild Juni Lund Krul, born days before her passing.  Also survived by her sister Marj Lennox of Ontario, niece Meghan (Matt) Maebrae and Scott (Laura) Lennox and their children.

If desired, donations can be made in Bev’s honour to the Crohn’s and Colitis foundation of Canada or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
