Alice Elizabeth Thomson

June 27, 1933 – December 1, 2020 

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Thomson on December 1, 2020 at the age of 87.

Born on June 27, 1933 in Rockglen, Saskatchewan, Alice is predeceased by her parents George and Mary Herring as well as her siblings Marlene, James and Bruce. She is also predeceased by her husband James whom she married in July of 1955. She is survived by her children Brenda (Francis), Lorne (Brenda), Kenneth and Daryl (Kristy); as well as her nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren who will miss her.

Mom really had a love for computers, and especially for playing her favourite game, World of Warcraft, where she could take a break from the real world for a while.

We sincerely thank all the staff at Riverside Lions that cared for Mom during her stay there and the nurses and doctors at Grace Hospital and Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. We would also like to thank the staff of St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their hard work and care during these difficult times.
