On Saturday, July 24th, 2021 our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away at Park Manor Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in the company of her children Marie and Jason.
Mom just turned 80 years old in April of this year. She will be missed by her daughter Marie, her son Jason, her three grandchildren Harmony , Morgan and Austin. Also, her three great grandchildren, her sister Marie, her brother Don, her nieces, nephews, and (favourite) son-in-law. She is predeceased by her mother Mary, her father George and son Steven.
Her quick wit, big heart and musical stylings brought joy and humour to many.
She was very proud of the fact she was the first female licensed optician in Alberta.
The family would like to thank the loving, caring and hardworking team at Park Manor Personal Care Home. They took excellent care of mom and we can’t thank them enough.
The world is less joyous without her but there’s a better home a waiting…..
