It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lionel, age 77 on January 4 2021. Lionel was born in Morris, Manitoba and grew up in St. Jean Baptiste, Manitoba. He went on to live in Winnipeg and St. Adolphe for most of his life. Lionel worked at Bristol Aerospace for more than 42 years. After his retirement he enjoyed travelling, fishing and spending time with family.
A special thanks to Golden Links Lodge nursing home for taking great care of him during the last 2 and a half years.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Our sympathies to Pam & all the families, both sides. We got to know him well when we first moved to StAdolphe and were neighbours. He was always willing to help us whenever needed.
So many memories for you all to cherish.
Much love & thought, Lorne & Marilyn Johnston
Thank you Lorne & Marilyn….
Lionel was not only my cousin but a genuine good friend that was always willing to help in every sense of the word. Our many trips back and forth to Letellier were a treasure of conversation and experiences. I must also mention that Lionel and my dad Roland had a special long-term relationship that was something to behold together working at Bristol Aerospace. Yes indeed my good friend Lionel your suffering is over. Rest in peace.
Rest In Peace Lionel, we will most certainly miss you at Golden Links Lodge…always smiling! Our deepest sympathy to the family, such a big loss to you all.
