1927 – 2021
Harold grew up in a single parent household during the depression. With many mouths to feed it was not easy growing up but somehow they managed. He watched while his older brothers went off to war, one never to return. A couple months shy of his high school graduation he left school to go to work. It was what he needed to do to look after his family at that time. He worked hard and learned everything about the insurance business. And he looked after his mother for many years.
In 1967 Harold plucked up enough courage to ask a lovely work acquaintance, Elsie Fedorak out on their first date. They fell in love and lived happily ever after.
Left to remember him are his loving wife of 52 years, Elsie, their son Corey, his wife Amanda and son Miles, their daughter J.J., her husband Mario and their sons Stason, Marley and Jackson.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Palliative Care Manitoba and the wonderful homecare staff that lovingly cared for him in these last few months.
Donations in Harold’s name can be made to either Cancer Care Manitoba or Siloam Mission.
