September 18, 1938 – August 17, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cyril Albert Warrener, with his wife Arlie by his side, after 61 years of a courageous battle with rheumatoid arthritis.
He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife Arlie, son Perry Warrener (Donna), grand daughter Chantelle Nault (Louis), grandson Joey Dufault, and great grandson Finn Nault. Sister Jeanette Dearsley (Lloyd), brother Dan Warrener (Colleen). Brother in law John Sutton (Gwen), as well as many nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by daughter Onalea Dufault, parents Harry & Ivey Warrener, in-laws Charlie & May Sutton, sisters Marilyn (Darcy), Bev (Mervyn) infant brother Barry, twin brother Earl (Joan).
He was born in Neelin Manitoba, and raised on the family farm near Baldur Manitoba
He met the love of his life Arlie while custom bailing at her fathers farm. They married in 1962 & started their life on the family homestead with full intentions of farming for life. But after a short period due to RA, plans changed and he attended University of Manitoba and studied Agriculture graduating top of his class in 1968. After graduation he acquired a position with Crown Lands, Department of Agriculture, Province of Manitoba and was able to live out his long dream dealing with farmers. He was dedicated to his role and a proud civil servant until retiring in 1994.
He had an immense love for the outdoors & nature, and spent many weekends retracting his steps from his job as a land inspector & took the family camping In the most remote & amazing places. He also had a passion for Landscaping the yard, & meticulously choose scrubs & planted flowers, this was always a highlight.
He had a real zest for travelling, was in his glory planning vacations to hot spots, and spent many winters in Arizona, travelling by car/motor home with good friends Alan and Pat Dearsley, some times taking uncharacteristic risks in their travels.
Moving to Vasa Lund Estates in 2001, he made many new friends. He loved meeting up with the guys in the mornings solving all the problems of the world.
He was a very gentle man, had a positive attitude towards life as well as a great sense of humour and was in his glory whenever he got the opportunity to tease someone.
Cremation has taken place. Final Resting Place Baldur Cemetery, Baldur Manitoba.

I remember Cyril as a kind and dedicated person while I knew him a co-worker with Crown Lands, a truly GOOD man in every sense of the word.Take comfort in knowing that others are thinking of the family and sharing in the loss.
While I didn’t know Cyril personally (friend of Onalea) he sounds like a great gentleman. A difficult time to lose a loved one. Sending many comforting thoughts to his family during this difficult time.
I will always remember Cyril at Agriculture Crown Lands & the good times we spent chatting in his office (lunchtime) on such topics as travel advise, landscaping & even taxes & how to save our monies or invest it. I am sure he was very influential in planning our field trips whether by land or air (6 seater plane oe helicopter). He liked to joke around & play tricks on the girls & me especially. He tried to convince my youngest son at a BBQ that the burnt marhmallow was really good! He was a very positive good humoured person that I will never forget. Marty
So glad that I phoned you last night Arlie. I will always remember Cyril for his smiling face and positive attitude with lots of ideas on whatever subject we would be discussing. Take Care. Darlene
I did not know Cyril personally and met Onalea once in Baldur. We are cousins and I would like to extend sympathy to Arlie and family. Margaret(Preston)Yalte
