June 24, 1956 – 14 April 2020
The cancer won, I’ve passed on. But it’s not all bad, I’m back with my Mom & Dad, brothers Daryl & Bob & inlaws Mom & Dad Mac, Doran, Ruth and too many loved ones to mention.
I will be missed by my best friend and husband of over 40 years, Archer, stepdaughter Cherie, (Brian); step-granddaughter Sabrina (Cody, Bray & Bren); sister-in-law Roberta, sister Lynn (Craig), brothers Dan & Rick, lots of nieces & nephews and all of our great friends.
I was born in Ottawa June 24/56 but raised in Edmonton. I moved to Winnipeg in 1975 where I met and fell in love with Arch the first month.
I tried a few jobs but I really lucked in when Gregg hired me in 1987 which is now Adesa Auctions. I spent over 30 years with the best people. We have the most incredible car dealers in Manitoba and the surrounding area.
Thank you, Gregg Maidment, for all you did for me in making me the success I became. Thank you to my best friend Anna Caron for all your love and support and all you’ve done for me; you deserve a halo but not yet. And to all the Cancer Care Manitoba staff – Dr. Dean, your great team; Mare and Nicole, you two are priceless. I wish I could name you all! Dr. Paul Chochinov for your past 20 years of care; I am leaving Arch in your care a little longer.
And now Archer, we were lucky, 44 years of love and happiness! Thank you for all your love and support. You too helped me grow as a woman and helped me succeed. I was always proud to be your wife!
