1944 – 2025

I am a happy man and have been blessed. I had a wonderful family that made me proud and many cherished friends that made for happy times and great memories.

I had a dedicated partner and best friend, Gail, for 57 years.

Two accomplished and wonderful children, Jason and Janna (Darren); three beautiful grandchildren, Hanah (Marcel), Jarret (Hannah) and my youngest pal Connor; and two canine friends Ruger and Moose. I appreciated all the caring, love and support from them during my life and on my final journey.

Although I had no siblings, I consider my brother-in-law Vince and sister-in-law Kathy as my brother and sister. We enjoyed our card games and Chinese food.

I treasured my time with family and friends and family time spent at the lake.

As per my wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private family gathering will take place. I ask all who I have known to take a moment to reflect on the joy and laughter we have shared.

Goodbye, my family, my life has passed.

I loved you all to the very last

Weep not for me, but courage take

Love each other for my sake.

For those you love, don’t go away

They walk beside you every day.

Love Dad xoxo

To my husband:

They say there is a reason, they say time will heal. Neither time or reason will change the way I feel. Gone are the days we used to share, but in my heart, you are always there. The gates of memories will never close. I miss you more than anybody knows.

Love and miss you every day

Always and Forever

Sad to hear Gail…never easy to leave our loved ones. Many happy, fun memories of those years we spent being hockey parents…I often go through the old photos and chuckle!

Buzz was one of nicest people I ever had the opportunity to know. He was true gentleman and caring man. I knew him from Post Office days and golf tournaments at Oakwood.
He was good friend to my father Ed Sedleski as well.
    Rest in Peace Buzz

Our sincere condolences and sympathy to you Gail, your children and grandchildren and extended Lamond family. Buzz was a one of a kind gentlemen. From the day he came out of the house and introduced himself with that famous smile and handshake, I knew he was a good guy. We talked about him thinking of changing jobs, and what it was like working for the Post Office, to which I told him what I have experienced over my years of employment with P.O. Then a couple of weeks go bye, and Buzz comes out to inform me that he has been signed up to work retail. We shook hands and congrats were said and the rest is history. Anytime we crossed paths, he had his hand out with the smile that seemed to be always present with kind words. He was one of the great ones, and will surely be missed by all . R I P our friend.
