Annette A Bisaillon (nee Gauthier)

Annette A Bisaillon nee Gauthier

On Saturday, January 18th, Annette Aurore Bisaillon passed away peacefully after a courageous fight against congestive heart failure.

She leaves behind her four daughters Collette Bisaillon, Roxanne Bisaillon (Carey Pearson), Nicole (Kurt) Giesbrecht, Carmen Bisaillon, honorary son Allen (Rita) Vincent, 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents of course. At mom’s age of 79, that’s a gimmy! She also had five brothers, two sisters, and our dad Rosaire Bisaillon pass before her.

Mom came from a very large family. She was the epitome of the middle child coming in at number 9 of 19 children. Needless to say our grandparents were busy! The number of nieces and nephews is far too high to count, let alone name them all!

Mom grew up in Fisher Branch, MB, and lived there until 18 or 19 when then she moved to Winnipeg. She met our dad, got married and had us 4 girls. We moved around a lot in various places throughout Ontario and Manitoba, finally settling in Pine Falls, MB, where mom lived out almost the rest of her days.

She was very active in the community, loved playing softball, gardening, and making sure her flowers always looked gorgeous in the summer. Mom had a lot of friends and we’re sure a few enemies, because you know, she never backed down from a fight. She had a great sense of humor but, also let her opinions be known loud and clear!

Mom, you were beautiful, smart, witty, courageous, and had a heart of gold. You will be missed always and forever loved. Until we meet again!

As per mom’s wishes, there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held in August, close to her 80th birthday. Internment to follow in Pine Falls where she will be reunited with our dad.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the heart and stroke foundation.
