It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis, age 64 on June 9, 2024.
Left to cherish his memory are many family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Jean Holubowich.
Dennis was known for his kindness and putting others ahead of himself. He would talk to everyone and would always start a sentence with โDid you knowโ and then continue to talk forever. Other than his family, his biggest passion was his love of animals. Over the years, he took in many stray cats as well as set out trays of food and water for strays, squirrels, and birds.
Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg, MB
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or any other animal or bird sanctuary.

I am so very sorry to have read about Dennis passing.
I will always remember him as the shy-good natured boy when I lived at 738.

What a shock he used to text me often but lately I haven’t heard from him I used to drop in on him when ever I was using health services for myself. As I would park there. And he would leave a note on my car to come see him in house.. I will miss seeing him . My deepest condolances to the Holubowich family. He is with the lord in peace and a better place
I am shocked and deeply saddened by Dennis’ passing. We were great friends when we were young and enjoyed each other’s company. Playing in the neighbourhood, often getting in trouble with our mothers, and working together at Kamp’s were memorable highlights. I regret that we lost touch over the years.
On behalf of my family, I wish to extend heartfelt condolences to the entire family. Dennis will be missed.

I recall Dennis as a young boy, riding his new boys bike that was won on the Old Dutch TV bid show for children. Mrs H worked so hard to win this awesome gift for young Dennis.

To the Holubowich family I am sending my condolences on hearing of Dennisโs passing. Dennis and I were very close friends in our childhood years while attending Montcalm elementary school and living on Elgin Ave. He and I both won our first bikes while being on the TV show Kids Bids ( Old Dutch ) we were both so proud of those bikes. I havenโt seen him in many years but I have many fond memories that I will cherish forever.

The best dad anyone could have asked for. Supportive, loving, giving and so positive and just 1 of a kind. You just always supported Brandon, Channy and I. I will cherish our saturday mornings with cartoons as kids. You would make us toast with all the condiments you could. Taking us to the Drs, to school, to work or anywhere we needed to be. Getting me into NFL. Foreve my favorite sport to watch. Our last family dinner was just so amazing. I will hold the necklace, you put so much effort into making it perfect, so close to me . My heart is so broken and will never be whole again. I love you so much and I wish we had more days. Til we meet again โค๏ธ
