September 13th, 1971 – April 7th, 2024Β
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our friend, son, brother, and husband, James Scott Schillemore.
Scott left his mark in our hearts by being not only the rockstar he was but also the best friend one could ask for.
Many people know Scott from being the frontman of his band, MUNG, a Winnipeg staple in the music community and the punk scene across Canada.
He had a way of making you smile, even if you didn’t want to, and he would always give you the most genuine hug.
We will carry you, your spirit, and your memory. We are all just grateful for you being part of us.
We love you. Gone for now but will never be forgotten. Rest in punk Scott, we will miss you.

Hi Cindy
I just discovered Scottβs obituary on Google.
I am Louise, Scottβs dadβs oldest sister, Louise.
I am so sorry for your loss and sad that we were unable to be a part of your life and Scottβs.
Nevertheless, your mom definitely made the right decision to leave Jim.
So glad to know that Scott was surrounded by loving family and friends.
Wishing you and your mom and Scottβs family and friends peace and all good.

Peace to you all. Tanner my love and deepest sympathy. I can’t imagine your heartache. Scott was a true soul that shined brightly! I miss his presence dearly. When we spoke he always seemed to really listen and engage, not everyone is like that. Stars that shine this bright often burn out faster and its never fair. Again my condolences. Love Jac Raynerβ€οΈ
