February 9, 1964 – March 21, 2024
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Carlos on March 21, 2024, at St. Boniface Hospital.
Carlos was born on February 9, 1964, in Sao Miguel, Azores.
Carlos was predeceased by his mother Gloria (2007) and father Anibal (2019). Carlos will be sadly missed by his girlfriend of 15 years Nancy; daughters Amanda and Kiera (David); grandson Bryce; brother Aires (Sandy); nephews and nieces Ethan (Sophia), Danica and Dominic; great-nieces Mariah and Leia; and numerous extended family members, and friends, too many to name.
Carlos enjoyed bartending where he created many lifelong friends and memories. He would later open his own restaurant and follow his dreams.
Carlos touched everyone he met. His friendly, funny, jokester personality will forever leave a hole in our hearts.
Thank you to everyone who came to see Dad in his final days. We know that he touched many lives and are forever grateful for the impact you made on him. A sincere thanks to the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit staff for the compassionate care that was given.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy.

Can still hear you sing,
when I was…..
RIP Carlos. I hope to always remember our fun times working together back in the day. Laughing together about everything was second to none. You being my sounding board was appreciated more than you likely knew. My early twenties were more fun having you be a part of that era. Thank you.
