May 30, 1948 – January 31, 2024
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Judy (Turcotte) McKenna on Wednesday January 31, 2024, at Seven Oaks Hospital. Judy was the beloved wife of Donald McKenna for 56 years.
Lovingly remembered by her daughter Barbara and son Robert. She was a precious grandmother to Jordan (Brittney), Bradley (Jessica), Katherine, Donna Joe, and Chrissy. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Ricky, Bristol, Charlotte, Olivia, Julie, Alister and Robert.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her sister Louise (William).
Judy was the loved daughter of the late Henry and Charlotte Turcotte. She is predeceased by her brother Larry.
Her passing has created a void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. Judy’s memory will live on in the hearts of those she knew and loved.
As per Judy’s wishes there will be no formal service. The family will hold an intimate family celebration of her life at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Winnipeg Human Society, a charity very dear to Judy’s heart.
I MADE IT HOME
I just wanted to let you know that I made it home.
Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh, so new. I wish that you could close your eyes so you could see too.
Please try not to be sad for me and try to understand that God is taking care of me. I am in the shelter of his hands.
Here there is no sadness, and no sorrow, and no pain. Here there is no crying, and I will never hurt again.
Here it is so peaceful, when all the angels sing. I really must go for now, I’ve got to try my new wings.
PS….I will be the first face you see when you get here.
