Teresa (Terry) Scott nee Moore

January 7, 1948 – April 9, 2023 

It is with profound sadness that that we announce the unexpected passing of our wife, mother, and gramma. Terry passed away Easter Sunday at Stonewall hospital in the arms of her loving husband of 57 years Jim.

Terry was the only child of Curt and Kathleen Moore. She was born and raised in Stonewall and moved to Stony Mountain not long after getting married. This is where she and Jim raised their three kids. Terry was always a hard worker and enjoyed working in the mining equipment sales business for many years. Terry enjoyed her getaways to the United States shopping and spending winters in Phoenix. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Terry will be greatly missed by her husband and best friend Jim; her son Rob (Kris); grandson R.J.; her daughter Tarra (Mitch Poirier); granddaughter Dakota (Anthony Vogiatzakis) and grandson Dawson Poirier; as well her three nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her youngest son Clint in 2021 with whom she is now reunited; her parents Curt and Kathleen Moore; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Rlee and Ralph Gilson.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
