It is with great sadness that Mary Lynne Wilding (nee. Mault), known by everyone as Lynne, passed away peacefully at Grace Hospice with her brother and sister-in-law by her side on February 8, 2023.
Born in Swan River to Ivan and Mary Mault, on February 2, 1942, she is survived by her husband Art Wilding; ex-husband Ken Ellchuk and their three children Kimberley, Robert and Trevor; her brother and sister Wayne and Myrna; sister-in-law Cheryl and brother-in-law Ken; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
After retirement, Lynne became very active with MTS Pioneers and travelled across Canada, the United States, and Europe. She also took up dancing with her husband, Art, becoming an accomplished square dancer. Lynne treasured any time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dear Art and all of Lynne’s family,
We were so sorry to hear of Lynne’s passing. We have enjoyed dancing with Art and Lynne for many years. Though the last few years have had many challenges, Lynne met them all head on with courage and determination. She constantly amazed us with her positive attitude. Rest in peace, Lynne.
With love and admiration,
My sympathies to Lynne’s family., especially to Art, from a fellow square dancer, Lucille D.
Dear Family of Lynne, she talked about all of you with so much love in our phone conversations and when her and Art visited us in BC. We have a heavy heart knowing we will never share laughter with her ever again. Life had dealt her more sorrow and pain then she ever deserved these past few years.
Rest in peace Lynne,
From April and John Wilding
Lynne and her family lived next door to us (Armstrong family) in Swan River so I knew them well. I was so grateful for being able to spend time with Lynne and Myrna over the years! I always remembered her when she wore her prom gown and I thought it was the most beautiful dress I had ever seen lol .. condolences to Lynne’s family, husband , Wayne and Myrna! R.I.P Lynne! Art, so sorry to hear of Lynne’s passing. She was one in a million. I was fortunate to be able to square dance with both Art and Lynne. They were both proud supporters of all the square dance clubs in Winnipeg and she was an angel to many of us when we were beginners and will continue to do so from above. She will be missed by so many whose lives she touched. Rest well, dance as though no one is watching and party hardy Lynne. You so deserve it.
