Lucille was predeceased by infant son, David on October 1, 1970; mother, Eugenie Bruce on September 10, 1992; father, Joseph Bruce on October 1, 1997; and granddaughter Falin Johnston on June 26, 2023.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue, Winnipeg MB. Refreshments to follow service.
