Lloyd Alvin Penner passed peacefully away, on Monday, July 1st, 2024, with the love of his family surrounding him.
Lloyd was born at St. Boniface Hospital on September 30, 1946, to Alvin and Esther Penner. He worked as a farmer, truck driver, school bus driver, and mechanic. Lloyd met Darlene in 1971 and was married in 1975.
They welcomed a daughter Melissa in 1978, Stephanie in 1980, and Nicholas in 1992. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved music, hiking, camping, and spending time with his family.
Lloyd was predeceased by his parents, Alvin and Esther Penner, his brother Vern Penner, and his sister Gloria Penner.
Lloyd is survived by his wife Darlene Penner (Snyder); his children Melissa Hansen (Darren), Stephanie Siemens (Stephan), and Nicholas Penner; and his grandchildren Sarah Hansen, Joshua Hansen, Anthony Siemens, Nathan Siemens, Daniel Siemens, and Zachery Siemens.
A celebration of his life will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Thursday, July 18th at 1 pm in Morris, MB.
