Andre Jeebe

1967 – 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andre Jeebe on September 11, 2024 at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends.

He was loved and cherished by many people.

Andre was predeceased by his father Dieter. He is survived by his mom Jutta; his Brother Dirk (Shirley); his nephew Braylin and niece Breanna. He was also cherished by extended family and friends.

Andre was born in St Boniface (Winnipeg) in 1967. Andre grew up and lived in Winnipeg all his life where he attended school for persons with disabilities. For the last 7 years Andre lived at Deer Lodge Personal Care Home. There he made friends and was supported, and cared for by a great Team of Healthcare Workers. Andre persevered where many would give up! He never complained in sickness or in health. A true trooper, and a very kind hearted individual.

Prior to his illness that prevented him to be able to live at home. His Mom and Dad gave him considerable/exceptional love and care.

Andre was a fighter, comedian, and sports fan. Earlier in Andre life he spent weekends out at Camp Neustadt with his family in a Flyer Bus converted to a camper. Later his Mom and Dad would build a Cottage in Heideland. from there many fun weekends continued in the peaceful cottage setting with friends. Many fond memories were created and shared there.

Andre enjoyed watching hockey, soccer, football. His passion was rooting for the non home team. This brought him laughs and friendly contention with family and friends to win him over to support for the home team.

Andre was a Gift from God. He truly was and inspiration to many, and many have learned from him and his ways!

We love you, and we miss you! Andre you will live on within our hearts and minds until we meet again in heaven.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy in Winnipeg, MB.

If friends so desire donations in memory of Andre may be made to Deer Lodge Centre 2109 Portage

  1. So sad to hear of Andrea’s passing. I have many fond memories of him and he was always cheerful and funny. My sincere condolences to the family . May you RIP Andrea , you will be missed.

  2. Sending our condolences from the whole Johnson family. We are heartbroken to know that Andre has passed. Andrew (friend) and him made good roommates and in earthly terms we can only imagine that they are now in full functioning bodies and catching up on all the news. I especially think of Jutta having experienced Dieter and now Andres loss. It’s unimaginably the pain of losing a child. Praying for peace and comfort and many family and friends to come around and support you as you journey through grief.
