Charlie passed away peacefully Thursday, February 7, 2019, at 86 years of age.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his son Gordon (Sandie); grandchildren Amanda (Adrian), Scott (Brittany); great-grandchildren Ava and Isla and by all those who knew him. He was predeceased by his brother Victor and wife Rita.
Charlie was a loving son, father, grandfather and great grandfather, always smiling with a great sense of humour. He enjoyed sports and loved to share the details of his many accomplishments. In his retirement, he travelled to Las Vegas to escape the Winnipeg winters, according to Charlie it was the best place to vacation.
A special thanks to the wonderful staff for their expert care during his brief stay at Concordia Hospital.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
