It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Willem Mensies on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at the Grace Hospital, Winnipeg Manitoba. Willie was 85 years old.
He is survived by his loving wife JoAnn; his children Jeffrey (Koren) and LeeAnn (David); grandchildren Kailey, Sarah, Jayden, and Christian; great-grandchild Aaliyah; and his brother Koos (Kathy).
Willie spent his life as a baker, working at Northwest Bakery, Dominion Stores, and finally retiring from Safeway on May 31st, 1997, as a Bakery Manager.

As per Willie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will be at a later date.
