Victoria Chemerika

Picture of Victoria Chemerika

On November 17, we suddenly lost our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She passed away with her children and grandchildren by her side as she wished. She lost her short battle with cancer.

She was predeceased by her mother Irene Smith; father Victor Smith; brother Floyd Smith; and nephew Shawn MacDonald.

Left to mourn is the father of their three children Dave Chemerika; sister-in-law Margaret Smith; sister Patricia Johnston; sons David Chemerika (Dana) and Jack Chemerika (Jillian); daughter Michelle Chemerika (Kane); grandchildren Ryan, Brendan, Devan, Aimee, Kaylie, Norah, Christopher and Andrew; along with numerous nieces, cousins and extended family. She will be greatly missed by everyone who’s life she touched.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital involved in Mom’s care – Dr. Dean, Dr. Bilenki, and the many staff members who knew her by name during her many stays on 6aW.

Celebration of life will be held December 14, 2019 1-3:30 with a short remembrance starting at 1:30pm. Location is Appleton Estates 133 Niakwa road buzz code 7260 from the lobby. Parking is available for the event at the front side and back of both buildings even if it’s not marked specifically visitor parking.
