It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Tina Hamm (Quartel).
After a brief fight with Cancer, Tina passed away on May 9, 2019, at the St. Boniface Hospital.
Tina was born August 30, 1948, in Winkler Manitoba, then moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba where she dedicated her adult life as a foster parent for 40 years.
Tina was predeceased by her father Peter, and mother Katarina.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Tanya (Bryan) and Annie (John); son James; grandchildren Ashley, Robert, Tyana and Copeland; brother Pete; sister Helen (Jim); and many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Tina’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the St Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the outstanding care they provided during Tina’s battle with Cancer.
