April 19, 1947 – January 17, 2019
On January 17, 2019, Sylvia passed away with her family by her side.
She was predeceased by her mother Anne Palmer; father Robert Palmer; and her daughter Kimberly Taylor.
She leaves to mourn her children, Darryl (Diana), Christopher and Amber (Chad); as well as her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mom was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was a strong and independent hard working woman who had a great sense of humor. Her kids were her pride and joy. She will be sadly missed by those who were fortunate enough to know her, and her memory will always live in their hearts.
The family thanks the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their exceptional care and attention for our mom.
In accordance with Mom’s wishes, there was no funeral service. The family will gather at a later date to celebrate her life.

“Condolences to the bereaved family. My tears are flowing for a friend, a great girl. Sylvia was definitely a hard worker, I worked with her for many years at the North West Company. We had many good laughs together. The most important part of her life were her children and grandchildren. Who she often spoke about with great pride. God rest her soul in peace!”
Family was everything!
Incredibly generous!
Wicked sense of humour!
Rest in Peace Sylvia🙏🏾
