March 28, 1945 – June 13, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron, loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother on June 13, 2020.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 54 years Pat; daughter Tina (John), grandchildren Nicholas, Jennifer, Ryan, Ashlyn and Payton; daughter Shari (André), and grandchildren Zachary and Kalina; son Brett (Kerri), and grandchildren Kamryn and Dawson. He also leaves to mourn his sister Shirley Schulz; brothers Alan (Diane) and Carl (Donna); sister-in-law Wendy Tanghe (Bob); as well as numerous nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Harvey.
In his retirement, Ron enjoyed his 3 mile morning walk to the mall to have a coffee, reading, watching sports on TV and playing computer games. What brought him the most joy was cheering on his grandchildren in all the sports they played and activities they were involved in.
We will say good-bye the same way he said good-bye to Pat every morning with three kisses and an “I love you”, “Have a good day” and “See you later”.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral and interment will be private and by invitation only. If you wish to pass along condolences, please post them on the Voyage website.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Salvation Army, Siloam Mission or a charity of your choice.
