Roger Harmer

July 1st, 1952 – March 3rd, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Roger at home on Friday March 3rd.

Roger will be greatly missed by his wife, Deb, daughters Christy (Brett), granddaughter Kaycee (Damon), and grandson Carson, Courtney (Bruce), and grandson Taryn. Sisters, Colleen (Pete), Cheryl (Pierre), Brother Tracy (Kathy), sister-in law Vicky, and numerous nieces nephews.

Roger was predeceased by his mother Norah, father John, brothers Craig and Lindsay and sister Kim (from Ontario).

Roger was an avid sports fan. He could always be found watching the Toronto Maple Leaf’s and Manchester United. He enjoyed playing baseball, and golf while enjoying an ice-cold beer.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I met Roger at Elwick Elementary School. He coached in the intramural program…. ‘It was all about the students!’
They don’t make ‘Custodians’ like Roger anymore. The students at Elwick knew Mr. Harmer!
We can’t forget about many years playing together with The Twisters Slo Pitch Team!
    Cheers Roger!
