May 18, 1956 – March 5, 2020
Omer went home to meet his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Concordia Place, Winnipeg, MB, at the age of 63.
Omer will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life, Stella, his wife of 33 years. He is also survived by his stepdaughter Darlene; his brothers Louis (Donna) of Beausejour, MB and Florent (Carole) of Whitehorse YT; his sisters Louise (Norman) Broesky of La Broquerie, MB, Alice (Lenard) Doroshuk of Rocky Mountain House, AB and Evelyne (Roger) Vien of Winnipeg, MB and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Steven; his parents Eugène and Lucienne Nicolas; his sisters Jeannine and her husband Emile Carrière and Lorraine and her husband Rod Matheson; and nephew Richard.
We are thankful to the staff at Concordia Place in Winnipeg who cared for him.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
