Louie passed away suddenly on March 9 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 82.
Louie was born on April 18, 1936. He immigrated to Canada in 1957, with his wife Maria.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Maria in 2008.
He is survived by his son Tibor (Lynne); grandsons Adam (Lucia), Ryan (Melissa), Sheldon (Claire) and Cory; great-grandchildren Adriano, Helio and Emerson; along with his brother Dezso.
A memorial service will be held on March 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Anthony of Padva Hungarian Roman Catholic Church, 365 Burnell Street. Father Dado officiating. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Red Cross.
