July 10, 1954 – January 27, 2023

On Friday, January 27, 2023, Linda Gail Bucholz, loving mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, passed away at age sixty-eight. An avid walker and social butterfly, Linda spent her days enjoying her 5 mile walks, shopping, playing Pokemon Go and spending time with her granddaughter Olivia. She was loved by everyone she met on her adventures whether it was talking at value village or meeting other people playing Pokemon Go on the walking trail. She spent many a day playing with her granddaughter Olivia, taking her on walks, going to the park and even trick-or-treating. They shared a bond that was completely unbreakable.

Linda also had a love for TV shows, movies and her cats. She could get lost in a good TV series with her daughter and also loved to go to the movie theatre to see the new releases. She loved her three cats (Pixie, Buckley and Simba) despite their troublesome ways. She also had a heart of gold when it came to strays, always loving them and giving them shelter.

Linda was best known for her welcoming smile, stubbornness, and generous spirit. She has joined her husband Wayne; father Max and mother Nettie to tell them all about what they have been missing. She is survived by her daughter Delainie (Armin); granddaughter Olivia; brother Kurt; sister Judy (Mike); niece Therese, and great-niece Rowan. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to a no-kill shelter be made or a flower to attract monarch butterflies is planted in memory of her.

  1. Delainie, my heartfelt sympathies to you and Olivia. Your mom quickly sent me a picture of Olivia the day after her birth. She was so excited for you. We had many wonderful conversations and some hard ones too during our work time together. She was stubborn and never wanted to be a burden. She was always quick with a smile and kind words. Always ready to help.
Linda, you’ve earned your wings my friend. Join me on my walks! I’d love that! Miss you. Sue Anderson(co-worker)
