Lillian Lingies

December 7, 1937 – November 22, 2023

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Lillian Victoria Lingies.

Her husband and family came first in her life, and we always knew we were loved. Our wonderful memories will help us get through this time.

A special family celebration will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a gift can be made to the heart and stroke foundation.

  1. I’m heartbroken to hear of Lillian’s passing. She, and her family, were very near and dear to our family. Many happy memories at Falcon Lake, Birdshill Park Riding Center, family games, bbq’s and so much more. We will remember her kind heart and spirit. She was one of my mother’s best friends. I can imagine her laughing and enjoying time with her heavenly family and friends. You are loved 💕

  2. Debbie, Dean and Brenda (and family). We are so saddened to learn of the passing of Lil. She was very special to all of us kids growing up in our youth in Wpg. Our family memories are happy ones, that all of you were a part of. We loved your mom, and the life long bond Lil had with so many of the other mothers in our neighbourhood, goes to speak of Lil’s commitment, love and loyalty over the years. May you be comforted that she is resting in peace now. Sending hugs to all of you during this sad time. Lil will be dearly missed by all of us. When I think of Lillian, I think of all those good times the “ Well Seasoned Gals” had at my mom’s cottage. Great times spent golfing, playing cards, and lots of conversation together. I remember they encountered a big snow storm that took place in the month of May. Driving down out narrow road in 2 feet of snow! Yikes!
I remember we took our moms out to Green Gates for brunch. While my mom and I were walking towards the restaurant, a horse pulling a cart with a girl in it, got startled. The horse was running and panicking and swung the cart right into Lillian’s SUV. At the time we didn’t know it was Lil’s car. When we saw Lil and the girls in the restaurant, we explained what happened. Told them the cart smashed into a blue SUV Toyota. Lil yelled,” That’s my car!”
Lillian will be missed so much. She was a wonderful lady and a dear friend to my mom.

I will miss her a lot …my deepest condolences to Horst and to Deborah and Dean and families.
