March 19, 1958 – April 23, 2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Dobbs after a brief illness. She left behind her devoted husband of 41 years Wayne, her beloved children Chris and Angela (Dan) and two precious grandchildren, Lily and Emmitt.
She was predeceased by her parents Wade and Jean, sister Verna, and brother Dave. Also left to mourn are her sisters Carol (Jim), Marge and Marlene (Russ), her brothers Rick, Alan, Bruce and Ken, sister-in-law Donna, many nieces and nephews and friends.
Jean always put everyone before her self, had the most beautiful smile and a laugh that you could never forget. She loved being outside, having bonfires, gardening and sitting in the sunshine. She loved camping in the summers, going away in the winters and spending time with her family.
Jean touched the lives of everyone she met and will be deeply missed.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

It has been probably 30 years since we met at Detroit Lakes while camping and we became fast friends. We had shared many laughs, some volleyball games, dinners, stories about our children, beach times and enjoyed our friendship. Life takes us down different paths, time flies, and we lose touch but your name comes up from time to time until it did today. We weren’t ready to hear name up in this context and we were stunned and saddened to hear of your illness and sudden passing. Your Love for your family, fun times with friends will always be remembered. Hugs to Wayne, Chris, Angela and Family, Thanks for the memories. You will be loved, missed, and always remembered.
