Glen Douglas Buchanan

April 22, 1955 – June 22, 2020 

At the age of 65, Glen passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospice. He was predeceased by his father, Douglas Buchanan.

Glen is survived by his Mother, Evelyn Buchanan; brother, Donald Buchanan (Joanne Klein); twin sister, Gale Bergen (Peter Bergen); two nieces, Lorraine Bergen and Lindsay Grennier (Bryan Grennier); and one great-niece, Sadie Grennier.

Glen lived his life by the strum of his own guitar. Playing the guitar was definitely his passion in life. When he could no longer physically play his guitar, he would pass his time reading novels, which his Mother would provide for him by the bagful’s!

As per his wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held.

The following is from his daily devotional, God Calling, on June 22:

“Go forward fearlessly. Do not think about the Red Sea that lies ahead. Be very sure that when you come to it the waters will part and you will pass over to your promised land of freedom.”
