Peacefully, on December 15, 2018, Elsie passed away at The Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre at the age of 89.
Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of almost 67 years, Jack; daughter Bonnie Bolt (Kevin); granddaughter Lianne Nosyk (Bohdan) of Vancouver, B.C and great-grandchildren Mila and Natasha and granddaughter Jennifer Hughes (Dustin) and great-grandchildren Hudson and Harper; son Douglas (Janet) of Indio, California; daughter Louise Lovas of Vancouver, Washington and granddaughter Kirstin of Melbourne, Australia. She is also remembered by all the Bolt children and grandchildren, as well as Janet’s children. Elsie was predeceased by her sister Helen Rejkowicz in 2006.
Elsie was a dedicated and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was extremely devoted to her family. She will be forever missed by all who loved her.
The family would like to thank the Simkin Centre and previously The Rosewood for the care and compassion shown to Elsie.
According to Elsie’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Elsie’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba.
