  1. Dear Debra and family,

Please accept my condolences and those of Mennonite Central Committee of Manitoba at Dave’s passing. I hope the joy of your lives together will sustain you through the sorrow of his departure, too soon.

I knew Dave as man of patient wisdom, careful advice, good humour and integrity. He was a gentleman, a fine person.

God comfort you, until grief is replaced by the loving fondness of memory.

  2. Spent many fun summers with Dave (and Deb) at Brereton Lake. Lots of wine, Rusty Nails and golf. Rock on, my Friend.

Met Dave in our student residence at Confederation College of Applied Arts and Technology, Thunder Bay, 77-79
We became good friends in our formative college years and life. Later bumped into Dave while passing through Winnipeg.
My condolences go out to Debra.

REQUIEM aeternam dona ei Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen.

    Carl Wolkenstein
