May 29, 1943 – April 27, 2019
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Charles on April 27, 2019, at the age of 75 at his home.
Charles was born in Winnipeg on May 29, 1943, to George Charles Thorpe and Helen Leona (Webber) Thorpe.
He is survived by his sister Tannis Johnston. Charles was a wonderful brother to Tannis and a cherished uncle to Christine (Dale, Christopher) Nesbitt and James Johnston.
Most of Charles working career was in automotive sales, both in Vancouver and Winnipeg. Charles had a great love for animals and always had a dog or two and a cat living with him which he cared for dearly.

Following through with his wishes cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at a later date at St. Vital Cemetery.
