Cameron Joseph Boisclair

April 29th, 1963 – March 4th, 2024

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Cameron (Cam) a loving son, grandson, brother, and uncle.

Cameron was pre-deceased by his stepfather Bob Poole, and his father and stepmother Leo & Darlene Boisclair, and all his grandparents. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Poole, sister Tanis, stepbrothers Brian (Kim), Blake (Simon), nephews Brendan and Bradley, his niece Tayler (T-bone) who he had a very special relationship with, as well as his lifelong friend Darryll Zurbyk.

Cameron was born and raised in Winnipeg. He grew up in Westdale and attended the Westgrove, Westdale, and Oak Park schools. After spending some time in BC he returned to Winnipeg and continued his journey in life working for Rehau Industries for a few years and then moved into IG Field as Maintenance Coordinator for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was very proud of his Grey Cup Ring he received his name on it in 2019. Cam’s last venture before his passing was to work part-time for Nasco as a forklift operator. Cam was lucky to not only see a whole lot of amazing concerts, but he fulfilled his lifelong dream of working with both The Winnipeg Jets and The Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Cameron loved the outdoors – a lawn chair, good book (always a book in his hand), a large supply of spits and nuts for his feathered and furry friends during the day, and a fire in the evenings. He was an avid sports fan, a big fantasy football and hockey fan, loved his rock music, and always enjoyed being around the family and all the family events even when he did grumble a bit sometimes.

The last couple of months Cameron suffered greatly. He never complained or questioned why. He was stubborn and independent right to the end.

There are not enough words to describe how much I loved you and miss you Cameron. Rest in peace son. Love Mum xo
