Tony had the kindest heart. He was a doting uncle, who loved his nieces as if they were his own, a loving brother, and more of a best friend than he was a son, to his mother. Tony had an adoration for cars, sci-fi, and anything that involved his furry friend, Ace, who recently passed after nearly twenty years of being his inseparable companion.
Mental illness greatly impacted Tony’s life, and it’s important to not only acknowledge, but honour the battle he faced with utmost bravery, in a world that so often lacks understanding. He had immense strength during the darkest moments of his life, and his memory is to be eternally remembered as the gentle man he was, despite the great fight he had endured for many years.
A prayer service will be held on Thursday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home located at 220 Hespeler Avenue at Henderson Highway.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 5 at 12:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Parish located at 181 Austin Street N, Winnipeg Manitoba.
Interment to follow at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery.
